、 Due to the different characteristics of each antioxidant and the varying aging properties of different rubber formulations. Therefore, the most effective antioxidant for one rubber material may be ineffective or even harmful for another rubber material. Therefore, the selection of anti-aging agents must be considered and reasonably selected based on the aging performance and anti-aging requirements of various rubber materials, as well as the characteristics of various anti-aging agents.

、 When one antioxidant is difficult to meet the requirements, two or more antioxidants should be used in combination to produce a coordinated effect and ensure the anti-aging effect.

、 Some antioxidants have coloring and polluting effects on rubber. Generally speaking, phenolic antioxidants have poor protective effects, but they do not pollute or cause minimal pollution. Amine antioxidants with high protective effects can cause rubber contamination and severe discoloration. These contradictions should be considered comprehensively when selecting.

、 The dosage of antioxidant should not exceed its solubility in rubber to prevent frost spraying and pollution of the surface quality of the rubber.

、 Amine antioxidants have adverse effects on the burning of rubber materials; Phenolic antioxidants can delay vulcanization and should be carefully selected.
