There are two types of multimeter: mechanical meter and digital meter
1. Measuring capacitance: measuring capacitance is mainly to measure whether the impulse discharge is good or bad, adjust it to the ohm gear, and then use two probes to connect its two legs respectively. At this time, the number of the meter will slowly increase, and finally become infinite, and then replace the probe. The situation is the same as before
2. Resistance measurement: Resistance measurement mainly involves measuring whether the resistance value is accurate. Set it to the ohmic range, connect its two pins with a probe, and check if the reading on the multimeter is the same as the actual resistance value of the resistance
3. Inductance measurement coil: Inductance measurement coil is mainly used to measure whether it is conductive, which is also in the ohmic range. Feel free to use a probe to connect its two legs. The inductance is simply a wire, and its resistance value should be very small to measure
4. Transformer measurement: There are many similarities between measuring transformers and inductance. Let's first introduce a transformer, which consists of a primary winding, a secondary winding, and an iron core. There are two types of transformers: step-up and step-down. The primary winding is mainly connected to the power supply. If you want to test the primary winding of a TV transformer, simply connect the two probes of the multimeter to the two ends of the plug, set it to the ohm level, and directly connect it to the socket. If the resistance value should be very small, it indicates that it is good. If the primary winding is connected to the power supply, then the other end is the secondary winding. The measurement can also be done by connecting the probe to the two terminals of the secondary winding, just like the primary winding. The resistance value of the secondary winding will be relatively higher
